In just a few more hours, Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice from BigBig Studios for the PSP will be made available at your local retailer. As a preparation for this occasion, the BigBig's devs have released more details on the sort of criminal elements you'll be battling on the mean streets of Capital City. Today's snippet will talk about The Raiders, the Syndicate, and Viper.

You guys will probably remember the Raiders. As game designer Chris Whiteside explained, this gang was inspired as means for the devs to include more water-based vehicles into the gameplay.

The Raiders are also partly inspired the Transport Pirate theme seen in movies like The Fast and the Furious. Round it out with frenzied intensity of the gangs of Mad Max, and you can imagine these water-based bandits will be giving you one literal ride.

Then there's the The Syndicate. Whiteside explains that this groups was designed a a sort of antithesis to EF's more brutish groups. The Syndicate is an amalgamation of British and European culture: A band of gentleman thieves who thrive on panache, style, and tongue-in-cheek humor.

If Capital City's Pursuit Force isn't extreme enough for you, then you may want to take a look at its alter-ego, Viper. That's them below posing for a picture:

This particular band of enforcers specialize in the no-nonsense job of riot control, using a zero-tolerance policy that has them flattening anything that gets in their way. Including you. Who says all the bad guys are on the other side of the law?
