PSPUAE version repacked for DA 2.71 SE |

This is not an update. We repeat: this is not an update. According to developerFol, the PSPUAE v0.55a homebrew emulator has been repacked to run with DA 2.71 SE and it should now work on 2.71 HEN C and v1.00. The logic behind the repack is to provide an option for PSP users who don't want to use the v1.50 EBOOT or DA 2.71 SE. The repacked PSPUAE version runs exactly the same as the PSPUAE v0.55a for FW 1.5. The diff is that you can put the repacked version in the game folder and run it.
By the way, PSPUAE is a program which emulates the Amiga 500 console, which is Commodore's best-selling Amiga model. Please refer to the readme file for more information. You can also search the QJ website for previous versions of this homebrew emulator.

Can anyone recommend any good Amiga 500 games?
Try Turrican 1 - 3, Take 'em out, ELF, Super Hang on... sorry, I don't know more at the moment... But a lot of classic games from other systems like C64 were also relased for the Amiga. Look around in the web, you will find a lot of cool games.

too many very good games. my favs ->
future wars, cruise for a corpse, operation stealth, silkworm , turrican, projectX, BaSS, heart of china, rise of the robots, robocop3 and and and, the list is endless. hope this emu becomes fast, a real update.

Hmmmm, this time 3 months, it was aweful, but now it as increased massively in speed, noticably the last update. Really annoys when people say hope this gets fast soon etc etc. Take it no one plays with the settings, I can now run Xenon 2 at full speed with sound and frameskip on 1. There are also alot of other games that run at full speed with frameskip 1 or 2 and sound.
Be paitent, its a very complicated hardware to emulate, example WinUAE, it might be very fast and nice, but thats only cause of the PC advancements, remember the PSP has only 333Mhz (NOT 2.0Ghz). Yet WinUAE aint perfect even now, and thats been in developement for a very long time.
We know, that speed is an issue, but be nice if people actually mentioned the already massive improvements to speed already. We also listen to what people say, and we are always trying to workout ways to get more speed all the time, some things end up as dead ends, other things end up helping but not much in most cases. 1 last thing, atm moment, Ric is the only coder (apart from MrModem) that are working on it, as Ric has a RL, he works on it in his spare time.
yeah there are piles of interesting amiga games, too many and to diverse to list, really. but - some require a mouse or a memory expansion or this and that kickstart revision, so it's not in all cases purely plug and play like with a games console.
although i'm more into console emus these days, i might try this emulator, definitely appreciate the dev-efforts.

Oh, what Firmware version are you using, as I have stated in the readme, "it should work with V1.00 + 2.71 HEN C". As I dont have either of those 2 I cant test it on them, need you to tell me what exactly happens first.
I have tried loaded up UAE fine (supposedly) because the floppy disc comes up but i can't get my rom to load. i really want to play stunt car racer. i have tried a lot like maiking it a zip, adf, using the install file, etc. i just need more detailed help on how to get the rom to work.
