The PSP port of Armored Core 3 is coming along nicely. Pretty much everything you remember from the PS2 version will be in the handheld version, but this time having multiplayer support via ad-hoc as well as a more customization options.

There's still some hope that From Software will eventually release this outside of Japan. Check out this big batch of screens (battle gameplay, customization menu, etc.) - there's already a bit of English text here and there.

» maybe just you.

I'm a big Armored Core fan. I really enjoyed AC3 and Silent Line on the PS2. For this to go portable with more customization content and multiplayer online capabilities.. damn I can't wait!

» AC3 was awesome

Every AC game Last Raven and prior are the better ones. AC4, while being a good game, doesn't amount to being as good as the original AC games. They seem too limited even compared to the original PSX titles.

My favorite is Master of the Arena though. Since it's for the PSX, means it's also for the PSP. I already own AC3 for the PS2, but I'd have no regrets purchasing it a second time so I'd have it portable on the PSP.

» Hmmm

MoA was good.. But that was still just AC1

AC2 was equally good, AC3 was ALSO equally good because it retained the Optional parts, and the OP-Intensify.

Silent line, and Last Raven were the garbage titles.. and while it seems a though AC4 is only great for certain players, I still like AC3 best

SO this is a great thing to have come out... Maybe if AdHoc Party ever hits stateside it'll become worth playing

» Wicked!

I really hope they make an english version. they would stand to make a fortune from europe and the US. they'd be stupid not too.

» I kinda agree

AC2 was awesome. AC3 was a great follow up. But the Extra parts in Last Raven and Silent Line made it special. and all compatible with the memory save from the previous games? EPIC!! I no longer has to start with the Junk mech, In stead I had my Prime Mech from the AC3 to start with. My favorite has to be AC: Nexus. Having the ability to jettison parts, and Visual Damage? it was the prefect add on. I hope this port is just the beginning, and if it's not then I'm still excited to see it actually Happening!

How they intend to cram 16 inputs worth of actions with the PSP and its 10 buttons (14 with the analog)
