PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior: the PSP-3000 finally gets a CFW to call its own |

The PSP homebrew scene kept chugging along in the background while E3 2009 took the spotlight, but right towards the end of the week the scene got an adrenaline shot right in the arm with the release of custom firmware 5.03GEN-A for HEN. With this release, PSP-3000 owners finally get a CFW made for their handhelds. The 2000 owners weren't left in the lurch, as the CFW also works on PSP-2000s.
That's just the tip of the homebrew iceberg, however. Read on for the rest of this week's PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior.

Kudos. That was quicker then what I thought to be honest. This is especially great now that I know I won't be buying a GO by any means necessary, at least I know I can have my emus and Java on any other PSP series.
So it capable of running homebrew, but backups are not possible right?
for the answer to ur question,just follow the link above that states GEN-A has landed: CFW 5.03GEN-A for HEN now available! Voila!
I must be the only that thinks it's not a "CFW"... but just a homebrew that acts like a CFW. The difference being just the fact that this "CFW" can't be booted directly into it, like past CFWs. I mean, it's great for PSP 3k users, but it just seems odd (for me) to call it CFW.
