Homebrew coder KiNgOfUnIvErS has released the initial version of PsnKiller, a handy homebrew plugin that allows you to access the online play of certain titles on PSN without having to use the official firmware, just like Red Hate's PSNABLER.

How to install:

Copy the folder in the achieve in the ROOT of your memory stick
Go in seplugins folder (if you don't have, made one) open your Game.txt
(if you don't have, made one) with a text editor and add follow line: ms0:/PSNKiller/UniPSNKiller.prx 1
Go in game after select Infrastructure Mode when show up the PSN login windows press login and have fun online

FAQ:

Q. I'm on 5.50 GEN-D3 and when I try to go in the Infrastructure Mode says me "You Must Login to PSN", but if I try to login/reggister from XMB it says something about server are down

A. If you have the D3 you need back on D2 and login from D2 when you get login on D2 connect your Flash1 to PC and save the folder "registry" on your PC now reinstall D3 and connect the Flash1 of D3 to your PC and replace the folder "registry" with the one you have on your PC.

Q. I'm on 5.03 GEN-C 3000/2000 and when I try to go in the Infrastructure Mode says me "You Must Login to PSN", but if I try to login/register from XMB it give me an error

A. You can't do a lot on 5.03 sorry ,but if you have a friend with FAT PSP you can follow steps of the 5.50 GEN-D3 and put "registry" folder in your 5.03 GEN-C Flash

I agree 100%, GEN are crap and their updates just bring more bugs. If GEN want to grow some balls and do something the PSP community wants then release GEN620 CFW but as they cant and only show a fake picture they will keep releasing bullsh!t updates.

Anyway, This PSNKiller works great. I tried it on a Phat and a slim and both get on PSN in games. Only problem is LBP wants an update. :( Well, nearly there.

I did also try Fat Princess and that works fine. :)

At least GEN is the only team still working on their CFW and are giving updates periodically. Where the blue hell did DaX go? Didn't even say goodbye! He just blew everyone off! So much for your God eh? Besides, GEN keeps making patched updates for their CFW since the majority of people are always whining that their games don't work and demand a fix, so, GEN delivers. What has DaX given you since 5.00 M33?

Thats my opinion as well.

Gen updates do Basically nothing except make Your psp unstable. The only good thing about them is that they enable you to play some games that require Higher firmwares. But it doesnt take more then 2 Minutes to patch those games to work on 5.00m33

Ok, I just tried this with Motorstorm and it didn't work. I'm on 5.00 M33-6 and I installed the plugin and enabled it, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

to get access to your psn id you must dissabled the m33 updater in your gen or m33 ultimate vs menu and then return to the xmb and sign in the psp psn sin in icon and then exit to xmb ant then start game

Am I the only person to have no bugs in their PSPs firmware? M33 was flawless, D3 is flawless. I had to go to D3 because my UMDs no longer worked on M33. I'll go wherever the support is...

But this plugin seems awkward. I'd have to go to D2 again? Nah. I don't play my games online so I guess I'm not missing much.

yes i also have no problems with gen firmware, id prefer gen over any m33

c'mon people really need to learn to appreciate the things GEN are doing. Dark-Alex is the pioneer of cfw, but hes taking a break (i hope). So, just be grateful that we can play games without having to go through all the hassle.

I got it working from the 3000 on 5.03 Gen-c

. I reverted to Gen-A and signed up for PSN and then just returned to Gen-C and it worked.

hey i need help i havnt tried multi raid 2 cuz the demo {all the multi raid demos } doesnt work on my psp!! it freezes after the KOEI logo. need help. (psp 2010v3 ver. 5.03 GEN-c)
