Head's up to the PSP homebrew community, homebrew dev Vosman is back to release a new version of  PSNF*cker, the very handy homebrew plugin that allows you to once again access the PSN store, download games and play online. Notable features of the latest update includes - auto sign-in support with some minor changes in the program.

Developer's note (translated):

Problems on the first edition :

  • Dynasty Warriors joint raid with the new download can not, network warfare can not, it is because the game has additional protection, need money to buy a license key, and then activated in the PSN account management, similar to the game also seals 3, Fantasy Star 2 and so on.
  • PSN store DEMO game most can not download, because these games to the machine authentication, game certification will appear (80109d80) errors, unexplained, it may try to use certified machines MEDIA GO, or to rise to 6.20 official firmware, good re-certification fall back.
  • Try not to open the other plug, so as not to interfere with, or not enough memory, especially PSNABLER and PSNKILLER not open simultaneously, the plug-ins already have these two plug-in for all functions. Turn over a register folder before reinstalling the best system.
  • Some of the unit is a mess of connection error, I do not know the reasons for the time being, because I have never appeared. I own the machine PSP2000 Japanese version, the system 5.50 GEN D-3 final version, 5.00M33-6 I have tried no problem

Installation:

1. Unzip get "psnfucker" folder, copy to the PSP Memory Stick root directory.
2. Open the PSP memory stick directory "seplugins" folder (not on their new one) in the "GAME" text.
3. Copy the following "ms0: / psnfucker / psnfucker.prx 1" (be careful not to copy the quotation marks come in)
4. Separate from the line (if it is new there is no GAME text or text content need not be further from the line up), good content will be copied before the paste is good, you can save out.
5. open the PSP memory stick directory "seplugins" folder (not on their new one) in the "VSH" text.
6. copy the following "ms0: / psnfucker / psnfucker.prx 1" (be careful not to copy the quotation marks come in)
7. the other from the line (if the new VSH text or content of the text does not need a separate line on up), good content will be copied before the paste is good, you can save out.
VSH.TXT is used to log on PSN store, you need to restart the machine.

Changelog (translated):

  • supports automatic login (auto-sign in supported)
  • disable menu hot keys
  • with a new system function modification method is no longer a simple string PSNabler kind of changes.

So... It doesn't fix anything other than supporting auto-login?

yeah this only fixes the auto login. I still cant get any games to play online. I can get to the store fine but as far as playing a game i have yet to get any to work. Tried Motorstorm, LBP, and Resistance and nothing.

Wow!

He's really putting in some work on this one.

Are a lot of people really having trouble getting it to work?

I havent tried it yet or ever been on PSN.
The only game I play online is counterstrike.

if ure psn auto sighns in, let it cancel, then retry but not letting it auto sighn in, then it should sighn in normal :)

jus follow instructions as normal and do the above it should work :)

if it still doesnt sighn in jus keep trying to sighn in constantly without doing sumin else inbetween and u should eventually be sighned in

Doesn't work for me, I keep getting error 80550424 on my slim 2000 psp with 5.50GEN-D3. Everything is setup correctly in the recovery, the plugin is enabled too.

On 5.00M33-6 i was able to login to the PSN but then i got the install failed error whenever i tried to download a demo or an add-on. videos worked fine. The only way i can download the add-ons/demos is by updating to OFW 6.20.

just reinstall 5m33-6, turn off all other plugins, make sure its enabled correctly (vsh and game.txt with a "1" and installed on flash 0) then download/ visit psn. easy peasy- if you've installed anything on your psp before.

is this psnfucker now allowing add-ons to be installed from the store? Demos/add-ons fail every time on beta1. Keep up the hard work anyway....

Totally works. Here are some better instructions. Create a folder named psnf*cker in ms root. Rename psnf*ck.prx to psnf*cker.prx. Copy the two lines to the vsh text and the game text, but delete the spaces before and after the / in the command line. When I tried this I disabled my other plugins.

# MistakeIron Dude 2010-04-19 01:11
I'm sorry more spaces need to be deleted. It should go from looking like this:
ms0: / psnfucker / psnfucker.prx 1 to this:
ms0:/psnfucker/psnfucker.prx 1
The space before the 1 stays. Do this for the one copied to both the vsh and game text. And remember they go on their own separate line. So in the texts if you have other plugins it would go like this
ms:0/plugin/plugin.prx 0 [enter]
ms0: / psnfucker / psnfucker.prx 1

I noticed that if you have account recovered on PSP with the PSNF***ER installed it wont log into PSStore. Remove the account and it works. Trying various games ATM but seems like you need an account to play most games online and I can't get remote play working. But nice plugin guys.
I have PSP1003, 5.50 GenD3.
