Here's the latest build of cooleyes' nifty media player for the PlayStation Portable, PMPlayer Advance.

Changelog:

  • fixed can't play any mkv files created by latest mkvtoolnix(4.2, 4.3, ...)

it can't emulate a video smoothly even tho it's overclocked at 333 mhz..
the normal xmb can play videos at 222

nice app.

Play your youtube vids without converting.

Needs improvement with the nav buttons (ff, rw, etc) and needs to boot the vids a bit faster.

This is most probable the best video player for PSP (the only one that's updated nowdays?).

I have a suggestion in mind as one other PSP video player had this feature. When the program starts, there could be a dialog to ask whether to continue playing the video the user were previously watching (assuming he never finished it). Then the user do not need to browse to the specific file and press x.
