A new version of PMPlayer Advance has been released courtesy of homebrew coder cooleyes. If your not familiar with the app, PMPlayer Advance is an alternative media player for the PSP that can play PMP format movies. The latest update is a bug fix release.

  • fixed subtitle display smooth

 

PMPlayer Advance list of supported file format:
  • PMP Format V2( *.pmp ):
    • Video:
      • AVC, main profile, level 2.1, <=480*272
      • MPEG-4 Part2, <=480*272
    • Audio:
      • MP3

  • MP4 Format( *.mp4 ):
    • Video:
      • AVC, baseline profile, level 1.3, <=480*272
      • AVC, main profile, level 2.1 or 3.0, <=720*480

Actually you can play .AVI files with PSPTube, although they may take a while to buffer. PlayerMT and the updated version of the same name plays AVI's perfectly, and I mean perfectly.



Also this new comment system is no good. Why hit Reply when you can't even tell that's what you're doing when scrolling down?

I have a psp 1000 5.00m33 and a psp 2000 5.00m33 this works fine on both psps i love the mkv support!



ps maybe you guys should swap back to 5.00m33 its a much better custom firmware then gen firmwares
