It should work from the memory stick, (ms0:) just not from the internal storage.

Could someone who's used this enlighten someone who has never downloaded this? What exactly does it do besides "play media". Is it any better than running it from the XMB? Any supported formats the XMB will fail to load? Etc.

I haven't tried every format in the world but know it plays FLV's and AVI's.
Which saves a lot of trouble of re-encoding everything.
But its kind of slow to load, so MP4's are easier to watch in the normal PSP player.

This app has a lot of unrealized potential.

I love the way that it can play most vids without having to convert them first.

But it takes a long time for it to get going and then the controls are insane.

After accidentally hitting the wrong button for the 3rd or 4th time and then having to wait another 20 seconds for it to start up again each time it starts to get more frustrating then entertaining.

Somebody needs to have a go at the code and at least redesign the controls.
