Looking for a nifty app to boost the volume of your PSP? Well, why don't you try Audio Boost Plugin, a handy homebrew app that promises to increase the volume of your PSP's speaker from up to thirty percent more than the maximum volume it can handle.

After you install and enable the plugin, all you have to do is to press the HOME +R to enable audioboost. Just a small warning guys, please use the app very carefully or it might damage your PSP's speaker.

You know what the "b" from "v2b" stands for ? Beta. Should probably wait for the final release... And include a limit ffs ! Other than speaker damage the quality will suffer as well.

Wouldn't it be better just to use headphones ? There are some really good noise cancellation ones out there.

8) place it in seplugins
you will also need to add
ms0:/seplugins/audioboost.prx
in both game and vsh

-If you turn on the PSP at full volume, sound is disabled until you turn the PSP volume down then up again

-It disables the equalizer, using any other setting aside from 'Normal' results in a loss in sound.

you dont put the file in the game folder, 1.you need to create a folder in the root (where you can see the PSP, MUSIC, VIDEO folders) called SEPLUGINS.
2. put the Audioboost.prx file in here.
3. now create two txt files, one called game.txt and another called vsh.txt, in these txt files put this line of text: ms0:/SEPLUGINS/audioboost.prx
4. hold the power switch up untill your psp powers down.
5. hold the R button then power on the psp.
6. when the recovery menue comes up, select the plugins menu and press X, go down and enable both audioboost plugins (by pressing X when highlighted)
now go back to menu and exit.
7. when you get to the XMB the audio will be disabled, press home + R to enabled the plugin + audio.

your now done ;-)
enjoy your loud psp

Also be aware of a problem I encountered: this plugin seems to turn off/disable sound when using a component tv out cable on slim psp 2000 (it took me forever to figure out why I wasn't getting sound on the tv out trip).
