PSP Hacking 101: Ahoy Pre-Episode 19 |

Aye aye Captain Pox! We don't know yet what the boys are up to this time because Episode 19 of PSP Hacking 101 has been put on hold as soon as they heard of the good news - the first homebrew running on firmware 2.80 on video. If you're a regular here at QJ, you might remember that we've done a feature on this marvel just a few days back. If you haven't been on the "Hello World" cruise, then you can check out what's all the rage here.
However, because of this recent discovery, will the original Episode 19 be walking the plank and get replaced by a feature on this exploit? Okay enough of the pirate gibberish.

Your in no place to call anyone any kinda *****. anyway, i dont plan to see the vid, cuz i tryed the hello world crap on my 2.8, nothing specian just some wavy words, and its been like 3 or 4 days and no homebrew so, ya nothing great, im alittle disappointed, i mean im no progaming master but how hard can it be to take an old piece of code like an eloader and change it around to work on a different firmware or take an old emulator and change it around to work on 2.8. and another thing eloaders load eboots as far as i understand, and to load an eboot you need kernal access, well if 2.8 has no kernal access why even make an eloader in the first place? i know i seem very negative but i mean come on, 3.0 is coming and they have a ps1 emu all working full speed and just perfect, i kinda see that as a better offer than waiting to possible have some emulators that run at almost full speed with nearly perfect graphics that could possibly brick your psp, im not saying homebrew sux i would love to try it, but at this rate it just doent seem worth the wait. and you could be saying oh but you pay for the ps1 games well theres always a way around things, like with p2p's for example everything on those is free even their own pro program.
Olded? I think I remember seeing Pox post the link to his youtube video in the comments section of the news about the new exploit. unless of course... this is different?
why do we need a video to show us how to put hello world on our psps, isnt that obvious? and why is pox dressed as a pirate? i agree with #2 on another useless episode lol

We've waited a few days for the new eloader now but surely we can wait just a little bit longer without hordes of noobs saying dumb stuff like "how do i play mario?" "it doesnt work!" "what is an eloader?" etc. Just chill out and be patient!!!

to #9, kinda i know what u mean with out Kernal mode its just like having a regular eLoader and thats boring well go at first but the Freezing and bugs and not being aball to use Remote and ETC. times 100 (lol) i dunno im just going to get a used PSP and downgrade lol :)

i hope there is a 2.71 downgrader so i can get 1.5 and the devhook my friend got its awesome...he even has a USD ripper (highly illegal btw)

I have 2.8 and am waiting for a way to put an N64 emulator on my PSP. If anyone finds out a way please post it! I gotta have Perfect Dark to play on the go! As for a 2.8 eloader check www.noobz.eu for updates on their progress.

dude seriously fighting on the internet is like the special olimpics wether u win or not ur still retarded.... anyway i want an emulator for psp FW 2.80 my cousin updated it thinking it was good and i am NOT trying a downgrader and wrecking my psp.
