You have to hand it to those guys behind these little Chinese ripoffs. We haven't even hit two weeks since the launch of the PSP Go, and already they've got their own version of the PSP Go. Ladies and gents, feast your eyes on the PXP-2000. Check it out.

The listing has the PXP-2000 under this heading:

4.3" 4GB Slide Panel Retro Gamer / Game Mp5 Player w/ Camera, Mp4 - PXP-2000

PXP-2000 - Image 1

I'm not quite sure what they meant with "Retro Gamer" but perhaps its packed with ISOs or ROMs from old games. But look, it's got a camera too haha! I wonder how long this thing can actually last though.

If the PSP Go price tag is too much for you, this one comes at only US$ 149.99, with a per unit price of just US$ 83.99. OR you can just get a real PSP.

» Oh Ashens...

Please tear into this thing like a grizzly into a freshly caught salmon.

by symbal - 2009-10-09 13:21
» Maybe

It only emulates things like Snes, Nes, Gb and i think it does the Sega 8 and 16 bit consoles as well, if they do a version that could handle Neogeo, Cps1,2,3 etc or have an open source OS like Dingoo i'd think about it, i can get used Psp 1k for about same price anyway so wouldn't bother, but perfect for people just wanting something to throw in glovebox and play some old games, or keep everyone at least 20ft away and pretend you got a Psp go.

Chinese knockoffs aren't all that bad. I have a bootleg iTouch that I got for $60 and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. 16gb, 3" touch screen. Plays any music/video format. Now tell me, where else could I get all that for $60? Nowhere. Bootleg chinese goods FTW!

by Silver-Tiger - 2009-10-09 13:47
» Youre completely right.

This thing has even a built-in camera. Sadly, these things break too easy.

by markdonut - 2009-10-09 14:18
» Whoa mp5 player?

I think my brain just melted.

by suckmyofff - 2009-10-09 14:49
» The hell...

Is an MP5 anyways?

by Foolmonkey - 2009-10-09 14:54
» Perhaps,

if you fail. Mines going strong over a year now. Treat it with care ffs.

by hush404 - 2009-10-09 14:56
» ...

honestly they should of just packed it with enough power to run a linux distro /w existing emulators you could have w/e you wanted.

by symbal - 2009-10-09 15:14
» If

You treat them like your good gadgets and carefully wrap them up in a padded case when you finished the Chinese stuff will last, but because they so cheap people usually just dump them in the glovebox or keep in your pocket with keys scratching away at it, and because they so cheaply made anything but the lovin touch will just wear it out.

by djman855555 - 2009-10-09 15:27
» fake?

click photo and look closely to the left of MP5. it has the letters PSP next to it

by KingPepper - 2009-10-09 15:47
» You are 100% right...........

Its either a superimposed image over the top of a real PSP Go, or a modified PSP Go's shell, with different inners, hence why the Dpad is identical so are all the buttons + Nub, expect for the so called camera.

What the hell is MP5 supposed to be 3D Video or something, LOL

Try again, you have to do better than that

by Kotonoha - 2009-10-09 16:25
» Whatever it says...

...it's not "PSP".

First letter is possibly an S.

by symbal - 2009-10-09 16:30
» Just

Look at a some of Chinese media players and a load of them Say MP5, it's not a video format so must be some Chinese thing hoping people think MP5 must be some new format they never heard of and go and buy it, it's like the lithium batteries they make, they might say 2200mah, 2650mah or whatever but they all just lying and all actually 700mah.

by Hidden Chamber - 2009-10-09 18:18
» it plays

sub-machine guns.. MP5 only though.. their newer model will play MP7.

by kagami - 2009-10-09 19:09
» and it will fire

no more bullying at the playground because youve been called a nerd for playing your psp.

by _YOUR_MOM_ - 2009-10-09 19:49

Using the PSP logo is them trying to associate with the actual PSP and snag some cheap sales on those that don't know better. Welcome to the market of Chinese ripoffs. Can I get you an ipod or anything as a welcoming gift?

BTW, Treamcast- one of my favorite purchases ever.

by danielakadanny - 2009-10-09 19:52
» no not the psp

but the PXP 2000...hehehe lets see who gets the last laugh

by Untopped555 - 2009-10-09 20:49

by xche78x - 2009-10-09 21:59
» MP5

a popular hype of outclassing mp4 media players in asian countries. totally of no basis they just just want to trump mp4 and so they can say their product is better. mostly made in china. rampant in asian market specially here in the philippines.

by CYBERxNUKE - 2009-10-09 22:36
» MP5 is actually RMVB

"mp5" is used to describe RMVB capability.

I guess MPx is a great way to step up your device.

by usjbroly - 2009-10-09 22:55
» yeah he should!

He's probably already aware of it

by Erique555 - 2009-10-10 14:06
» How the hell is this fake?

Its a real psp go rip off, Chinese companies never make fake pictures. This is 100% psp go rip off. And besides, the chinese made the psp, and sony and nintendo. America made Microsoft

by sicksider - 2009-10-10 16:58
» Idea Idea..

China people always have idea to follow the original product.

Just like I saw a China iPhone. But it looks smaller than the original.

Why are they like to counterfeit product?

by KingPepper - 2009-10-10 18:40
» Well i'll be........LOL

I must eat my words, as this is for real, well found "Your MOM", take a look at the third image down, yes it does say PSP, at least i got that bit right, so its a PSP shell with different inners as i also said, how ironic using the crappy PSP Go to make an even more crappy PXP 2000.

LOL at the Chinese , you gotta love em.

by gr8tlegend - 2009-10-11 10:17
» Hell yes

I just bought one this is ten times better than the GO! finally a system that can play my Mp5's this technology is too far advanced I can even emulate 360 and ps3 games! Buy one and e mail me and I will help u set it up! ni cho

by hotgraphics - 2009-10-11 20:23
» @ gr8tlegend

I wouldn't mind one of these if it can emulate the 360 & PS3. Is the 360 & PS3 emulation fullspeed with sound?. Where do you get the 360 & PS3 emulators for the system?. Does it emulate the PS2 by per chance?. Does it emulate arcade games like in Mame?. Also could you provide your email gr8tlegend?.

by 73N5H1 - 2009-10-12 04:32
» I swear you're the dumbest ***** I've ever seen

really Erique555? The CHINESE made PSP, Sony and Nintendo? And here I always thought that was the Japanese.... thanks for enlightening me.... *****ing moron....

by 73N5H1 - 2009-10-12 04:34
» ...

because copyright laws from other countries don't apply there, so they do it because they can get away with it and make money from it.

by 73N5H1 - 2009-10-12 04:35
» ...

If you opt for the flux capacitor option, you can also timetravel with the PXP-2000

» If not for the price

I'd send him one. But it'd have to be $40 or less.

by somemadcaaant - 2009-10-28 04:42
» lol FTW

hotgraphics and gr8tlegend - that ***** just makes me laugh hysterically on the inside and cry blatantly on the outside.

I think they both took the flux opt in the arse and tried to solder their cheeks together to play 360 and PS3 games on this rubbish.
