PSP Flash Selector v1.1

Nagogel has released version 1.1 of his Flash game/application selection tool for 2.7 PSPs. Flash Selector uses a unique menu system which allows easier selection of your flash games on your 2.7+ firmware PSP. It comes pre-packaged with several flash games that have been made specifically for the PSP to get you started on your way to 2.7 'homebrew' paradise. This has been made in order for 2.7 users to not feel left out in the development of homebrew for the PSP, as 2.7+ users are currently the only PSP users unable to launch homebrew games.

New for v1.1:
  • Hopefully this is the final version and hopefully someone with better html skills will take this idea and make it a little more usable
  • Flash games included are ones better integrated for the PSP
  • Moved games to a different folder to clean up the root of your memstick(save games to x:/PSP/FLASH)
  • Added labels for different sections in the HTML document to make it easier to use your own games( labeled by row and column so you know where the game will be on the menu)
  • Added links to various flash game websites
  • Edited the menu a bit and increased number of slots from 16 to 20
  • Slight modification to the background
  • A few minor changes
The readme included in the download has an extensive section on how to install this application. Be sure to Install all games to x:/PSP/Flash, or move them there if you have used a previous version of PSP Flash Selector. As you probably already know, firmware 2.7 is required to use this.

one question......

this only works on 2.7 only..or does it also work for any above...?if so who the heck still has a 2.7???there was no reason to hold out!they basicly already on 2.71......so whats the point of this...? :(

@5

This works for 2.7+, so it does work on 2.71. It is only a flash program so it will even work on your PC if it has flash installed.

Information

Hi, this app is great, but is there any way i can add more empty slots (more than twenty Flash games/apps) because i have built up quite a collection of flash games/apps. I was wondering if i could alter the code and add more empty slots...that would be great. if anyone has already done this or knows it can be done please let me know...thanx ;D

Nevermind

Ignore the last post...I have deleted this app because even though it works very well (two thumbs up), the user interface is not very inviting, the other rom selector was far more attractive and the games were alot better. however, i like the idea that you are able to put your own flash games to the selector, that is what i call smart thinking. but i have about 60+ games and 30+ Apps that run very smoothly on my 2.7 PSP! I need more space. I am using a portal at the moment that does the same thing and all my flash apps and games are in two folders which i can call up when ever i want using the portal offline of course. (This keeps the memorystick nice and tidy) All in all.. a very good attempt ;D

Help >> francis

Add the file menu in the specified location and type the following in the browser 'file:/menu.htm' without the quotes. You should have the file named menu in the root of you psp, which is the first screen you see when you plug your psp into the pc. then the other folder goes in your common folder the one that's called 'FLASH' PLEASE READ THE README xD

plus in psp. find E drive, F drive, wherever your psp is. click this drive. paste the menu folder in this window, not MP_ROOT or PSP or anywhere
