PSP firmware update v6.35 incoming

Head's up to the PSP community. Sony has announced that the next firmware update for the PSP will be out "soon". According to Eric Lempel, VP, Network Operations Americas, the PSP firmware 6.35 is a "minor update that prepares your PSP system for the upcoming launch of “Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity” – a new, cloud-based, digital music service from Sony that will give music lovers access to millions of songs stored and synchronized through the cloud. A new icon for the service will be added to PSP’s XMB (XrossMediaBar) under the “Music” category. You can read more about Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity here, and we’ll report back when a launch date is announced."

Along with the firmware update, Sony will also roll out a new version of Media Go with some new tweaks on the interface and more enhance photo editing tools.

He said if a new fw makes its self available, he would release his most 'powerful' work at the highest firmware at the time, which is 6.31 currently.

Yes! I think TN announced that he will port the 6.20 to 6.31 once a new firmware is release isn't that right? If so, I hope I could get CFW for my 6.31 ive been looking forward to this!

It's almost as if TN new that there was a new firmware coming...creepy ha ha.
Well, it seems Sony has been following TN's progress on the HEN, and are now trying to make some sort of defensive wall.
Can't wait to see how TN responds to this

That sucks almost as much at Sony itself. They should change the name firmware updates to brewblock updates - because that is the only thing it remains. Functionality? Pah! Bug fixes? Pah! Joy removers? OOOH yeah!

The PSP simply cannot, and neve rwill be able to compete in the Video/MP3 market. Apple has tyhat market tied up tight and there's nothing that can stop them, not even Zune.

Music downloads are already through the roof for pricing now. They're not helping pirates to switch, they're chasing them and other away from the market. MP3s on PSN is a terrible idea. Use iTunes or Amazon if you still buy music.

I can confirm the Hotshot golf exploit has been fully patched.

i know $ony is deperatly trying to save their console,
but if they gave us some real features like:
sending messages to other psp users through xmb, just like the ps3
i swear i would update

and please, update the web browser
oh my gosh, i hate it when the browser doesnt have enuf memmory

but i wont see that happening though
