It seems that it's not just the devotees of the PSP homebrew community">homebrew community">homebrew community who are benefiting from the hard work of devs like Dark_AleX and his friends; it looks like some entrepreneurs are also cutting in on the action.
As proof, one of our readers, Lord Pleb, gave us the heads up about this rather awkward auction that he spotted over at eBay which promises to have your PSP downgraded in five minutes. The seller won't actually do the downgrading for you, but rather, he's compiled the applications and files that you need to downgrade your PSP yourself.

People have been selling homebrew, emulators, downdaters, and so much more for a long time on ebay. This is OLD!!!! news....
Because you have to use the 1.5 files, which have restrictions on distribution. For that reason alone eBay can yank their listing.
This pisses me off so bad, it's because of people like that so many coders leave the "scene". I'm reporting them to ebay, not sure if it'll do any good but if enough of us do it then it will.

I realise this is what the world is but this is sad. I think its horrible that that person could make money off of someone elses hard work. I dont think Dark_Alex is a god. But i think he is a revolutionary to the PSP Homebrew Community. He has helped my PSP be my only friend :( but seriously. The PSP would be nothing without Homebrew. Thank you Dark_Alex and all the others like Ookm and Art... theres alot to mention but some of these people are the ones that come to mind. LOL. What i said sounds so EMO.

If someone is stupid enogh to pay this guy for info/files available widely online for free with just a little common sense then hell, good for the seller. I learned a long time ago BUYER BEWARE, there is a sucker born every minute and if you allow yourself to be taken advantage of then you have no one to blame but yourself.............

I don't know what they are doing selling someone elses work, but why do that?? Why can't they respect other people works.. I have respect for other peoples work and i thank them alot for their hard work on making psp the greatest psp in the world.. The only thing people can do is pay the people who does this kind of stuff for free my guess they want to help other and that's sweet but they need some cash because i guess they don't work and they stay in their house working 24/7 codec da psp... There really is no license on the software, so what he's doing is perfectly legal. Even if it was Open-Source, GNU license allows for the software to be resold.

This is just like those people selling links on how to get a free PS3, PSP and so on... links to outlet stores, links on how to make a 50" tv, links on how to make money... pretty dumb. but the dumber pays for these.
i don't think this a problem, since some people are really noobs and don't even know to run HenD (for example). So that the ebay seller sells all the programms include detail manual which help the noobs alot
