PSP Chotto Shotto demonstration: Making cheezy home movies |

We maybe misinterpreting things, thing is we can't really understand Japanese, but from the looks of it, you can actually add effects and text and what not to video taken by the chotto shotto. Makes sense really, especially after having seen their paparazzi ROLFcopter commercial.
What's nice is that it appears that most of the advert/demo was shot using the Chotto Shotto, or at least it looks that way. Yes, we sat through the whole semi-love-story-boyfriend-in-trouble "home" video. You should too.

Do you guys know if there is such a thing as a video camera with a built in editing software. I think this is totally cool... but it only takes 15 secs of video. I wish there was something out there that can take more video and still have a built in editor. Any one know of a device like this besides the PSP?

a couple things...
embedded editor.. thats cool.. really cool. i could see this being modded and making a GREAT VJ TOOL.
second thing, im betting that it saves it in some tight format that sony JUST HAPPENS TO OWN and will dump it in the movie section of the psp.
what i wanna know is if i can edit on the fly for true and pop it into my lappy and throw it into a running mix in livid union or resolume.
what would be REALLY cool is if they took the visuals from the new firmware added them to the camera function and use the anolog stick and buttons as effects and a modulation controller..
that be a fun toy.
and id really like a video out somehow... maybe through that serial?
