PSP-4000 mentioned in LBP accessory pack ad

**Update:** Accessories 4 Gamers' license manager Angela Jones has told Negative Gamer that the PSP-4000 mentioned in the ad is "a mistake on [their] part." A4G is the company behind the online ad. Thanks to The LastGuitarHero for pointing it out.

Original article: In a few days we'll be moving on to a new decade, and if a LittleBigPlanet ad spotted on the latest issue of MCV's Digital Edition magazine is any indication, Sony may also be moving on to the next iteration of their PSP handheld.

The ad, which is for an officially licensed LittleBigPlanet PSP accessory pack, explicitly mentions "PSP-4000" among the PSP models it supports. A couple of possibilities here: it could be just a mistake on the part of the ad designer or it could be an inadvertent slip. It's something to mull over for the holidays.

Of course its not gonna have a second analog stick, its not a "New" PSP, its just a remodel/revision of the current PSP 3000.

From what rumors have been saying is that its gonna look like the PSP Go, but have UMD Support.

Stop with this "oh noez! the PSP 4000 doesn't have a second analogz? how gay!" crap, seriously. Just stick with your current PSP and play, simple as that. When they anounce a PSP2 and they don't include the second analog stick, then go right ahead and flame and b!tc# about it.

Bluetooth would be the only thing that would convince me to get the Psp 4000, it's fine if they make it to look like the Psp go but if they give it a unreplacable battery it's a resounding no from me.

I hope this happens. I was planning on buying a 3000 model (Go seems like junk to me and my UMD library) but on hearing this... I'll wait. Some kind of lovechild between the Go and 3000 would be brilliant - large internal storage, bluetooth, better display (but still as large as the 3000). That would be fantastic.

I know Sony said it was all a mistake or whatever. Just like they did with the Go, the PS3 Slim, the 3000, the Dualshock 3...

Sony lied about every PSP revision it has produced. Despite the filtering information, Sony denied the existence of all PSPs prior to their release.The 4000 is coming. They have to lie... its marketing. Their sales will fall if it is known that another upgrade is pending. This is no duh.
