Gilgamesh has been confirmed as a playable character in Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy, but for some reason, Square Enix has been pretty quite about his appearance in the game. If you still have doubts about his appearance in the Duodecim, however, perhaps this little bit will rest your fears.
He's got a lot of weapons to wield and he's got arms for each of them. Gilgamesh was confirmed for the game alongside Final Fantasy XI's Prishe in Square Enix's 1st Production Department conference, where he had a little greeting for the FFV hero, Bartz. Since then, he's been missing in action from the news, vids, and trailers.
Thanks to this retailer poster, we have more visual confirmation that the villain from Final Fantasy V will indeed be joining the Duodecim lineup.
