Huge pixels. Four micro-RPGs. Thirty seconds. Marvelous Interactive's recently revealed Yuusha 30 has definitely gotten my attention. Though it's taking various formulaic elements in other RPGs, the entire concept of finishing each mini-RPG campaign in thirty seconds is something refreshing. Plus of course, you get to choose which kind of character/gametype you want to follow: the hero, knight, princess, or demon king.

To introduce us to the world of Yuusha 30, here's a debut trailer. Gotta love the pixels! And yes, this trailer is actually longer than 30 seconds:

I doubt it, I've seen many Japanese games that had some English text. Sometimes they just add it to spice it up with some style.

I'm a pixel junkie myself. So, might as well check this one out. Seems pretty interesting. :)

This is the kind of game I'd like to see more often on the PSP. Its fresh and unique. Look at the PSP's more memorable titles. Sure you have god of war and crisis core. But Locoroco and Patapon are arguably just as popular. One of the reasons why the DS is so popular is that its loaded with unique titles that are actually good and its good to see the PSP getting at least one more.
