Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is an action adventure game based on the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean. A trailer has been released for the game that will span across the portable formats, being developed for PSP, DS, and GBA.

The PSP game features extremely eccentric Captain Jack Sparrow, the dashing Will Turner, and the feisty Elizabeth Swann as they search the legendary (are there any other kind?) treasure, the Dead Man's Chest, through 10 stages. The PSP version of the game also has a four player ad-hoc multiplayer mode, which is sure to bring in the gold. “This completely different "ship-versus-ship" mini-game bears a striking resemblance to Sid Meier's Pirates but with even more stuff to play with. Ten different maps, customizable ships, and the option to invade your foes ships with crewmates sounds like a lot of fun to us, and it sure plays like it too.” - IGN

The short trailer shows in-game footage of Captain Jack Sparrow swinging, jumping, climbing, and sword-fighting his way through an island jungle.

I don't know about this one...

I will have to check out the official retail version of this game to decide whether or not to buy it. Half of the games I played that were based on good movies sucked.
