PaRappa the Rapper's got some new tunes

ParanaSometimes, things all boil down to faith. Regardless of what the future holds, some people find solace in the simplicity of believing. Take for example the case of PS1's original rapping dog, PaRappa. Like the 2D, beanie-wearing, canine rap artist used to say, "I gotta believe," fans might have to say and think the same when it comes to the new port.

The PSP version of PaRappa the Rapper looks and feels pretty much the same as the earlier incarnation, or so others say so. In case you are wondering about its new features, nothing is really awe-inspiring save for the new background music. The new songs, accordingly, can be downloaded through the infrastructure mode.

Aside from that, everything is pretty much the same - from animations to buttons timing. Those who have played the Demo version even say that it is too easy to beat, not to mention the game is rather short. Imagine Sony adding a few new stages, or just even a single one. That certainly would cause a stir among waiting fans.

Could it be possible that Sony is  holding something back? A new stage and/or some new downloadable content? Oh well, we guess we all have just to wait and "keep believing" until the release on December 7.

It's just a port of the ps1 game, don't know why anyone would buy it if they already have the ps1 version..

I LOVE THIS GAME>> but if we're going to be able to play PS1 emulated games on 3.0 firmware provided by Sony - wouldn't we be able to just PLAY the original PS1 version of this on our PSP?? So why would the specifically release it on PSP if they didn't add something extra to it (other than multiplay) ?
