On What Sony Connect Lacks |

It seems like Sony has developed a taste for the controversial when it comes to how they advertise their popular handheld console, the PSP. If you recall, we've made a series of articles covering this subject detailing how Sony has received very strong reactions from gamers and non-gamers alike. Both of which were appalled at the insinuation of the ad. And before that, there were the graffiti ads in the North and South Philadelphia area, that one caused an uproar from irate residents and city officials.
Now, Sony is once again in the frontline of attention with their rather interesting ad on Connect. Connect is Sony's music store built within the SonicStage music management application for Microsoft Windows-based personal computers. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I think it's the looming presence of Will Ferell on this picture that makes the carefree tagline worth a laugh or two... okay a snicker.

Probably the worst software in the history of time... Why won't they release the ATRAC format so decent developers can make something better...? My friend bought one of those Walkman things and sold it two days later after nearly destroying his computer in a fit of rage, just because of the software...

THe software coming from the MDWalkmans of sony, is actually very intuitive when veiwed page by page, but its transition and communication beyond a single page is where it fails the most. In other words, it a great program as long as you can get to what you need but good luck finding it because the layouts play tricks on you inbetween things.

i went to their site hoping to download a video straight to my psp. but instead, find out it's a zip file. then it says that i had to open it on my comp and upload it to my psp. if that's the case i might as well just dl the video on my comp and watch there. not so convenient $ONY!!!! should be more like flixpo.com where you just download a video and watch right away right on your psp. btw i'm typing this on my psp so i just recently fond out.
Sonic Stage and Connect are a blast, and if you sincerely have much difficulty operating the programs, you should probably get some sort of brief head examination.
