The trailer video is in Japanese, of course, but we are rather certain that fact won't stop you from wearing your headphones, turning the volume up, and clicking "play" - all this time having a wide grin on your face and with fingers fumbling every time. Why not, this is Final Fantasy. The same exact video game series that has withstood the test of time.
Anyway, the trailer mainly focused on Zack Fair and his discussion with Lazard, the head executive of the Department of SOLDIER of Shin-Ra. We couldn't understand it but it seems that this very discussion is very pivotal to the development of Crisis Core's story. Towards the end, there are a couple of in-game footage so don't you dare push that "stop" button. Enjoy!

3)I caught the word "Jenova" so there's gonna be some stuff about Hojo's experimentation and the SOLDIER project
4)It takes place about 4 years before FFVII

Looks cool, but FFVII wasn't my type of game... I enjoyed FFVIII much more than 7, maybe because of the graphics and the story line. Meh, that's just my opinion. But 7 wasn't bad either, just didn't like it as mush as 8. When I was playing VIII, it felt like I was actually in the game... Perhaps there will be a sequel for VIII too than in the future.
holy *****. the game looks very story-oriented for a portable game but I guess you can't do a Square-Enix game without having SOME kind of story. Plus the battle system looks like a lot of fun. This could be the first VERY big PSP game and will finally give the platform the respect it deserves. MGS got close, but this looks to beat it out by miles.

don't dis the ff12 battle system, it's awesome. seriously it takes a rather tired system (turn based) and makes it new and fresh, it has strategy, planning and all that.
can't wait for this game, and then for dark alex to make a custom firmware on which i can play it.

from what i can see, the battle system looks similar to that of kingdom hearts which isn't all that bad. if anything, it looks enjoyable.

I had no problem with the FFXII battle system but i hope this battle system is more of an action rpg system. Where you have to tap buttons instead of just setting a gambit and waiting.

Screw all of you that say this game is going to be gay because of the battle system! FF is not all about the fighting. Its more about the story and how it unfolds. That is what made FF7 so great!

This game looks great, i do hope its not mainly fmv. I have never really been into Final Fantasy but i am really looking forward to playing this.

DS only for kid to play and play some simple games, simple graphic cannot satisfy us now. And I don't think their FF series in DS can be success, but I can be sure FF series like this one in PSP must be success, I must buy UMD for this game because this is really a good game..

Well, if you plan on buying a PS3(which I am at some point in time if I can make money -_-' I'm 14 and can't get a job. And can't really mow lawns or wash cars until summer so money is going to be slow T.T I just wish I could get a job now. I'd have it in within like 1 month and some weeks), I hear(probably just a roumor) that they might be remakeing FF7(it was on qj before, but I haven't really checked PS3 qj in a while so I don't know if there's been any articles to prove or disprove it), so you might get your wish IF you want to get a PS3
