No surrender for SEGA Genesis Collection trailers

We've got to admit, the Sega Genesis Collection could be considered the underdog if pitted against outstanding Sega Genesis emulators like syn-k's DGEN. However, the retro collection just isn't about to raise the white flag yet.

It looks like their plan of action is to release as much videos as they can for each of the awesome games included in the collection, and then appeal to that part of our brain that triggers nostalgia. All the time keeping their fingers crossed like a pretzel that gamers would pick up the collection.

Here are videos for the former Sega poster boy, Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle; the classic RPG Phantasy Star 2; and the Conan the Barbarian-esque Golden Axe, still fighting the good fight.

Well, I'm wondering which has the better emulation, these collections or the emulator....

I'm gonna vote emulator because it usually gives you savestates, and control configurations

If it's anything like Sonic Mega Collection (and SMC Plus), it has save states too.

» Only 22 Games On A 1.8 Gig Disc?!?!? WTF!!!

Why would I want to pay for only 22 games on this a 1.8 gig disc, what is that about 100 megs, if that and they are all old games. I would probably pay for a disc that had maybe 100-200 games though, if they were a real collection. 22 games is hardly a collection to get excited about. After I bought this I would probably feel cheated. I have to admit though, I bought Sonic Mega Collection for the gamecube because I enjoyed the classic Sonic games and it was pretty cheap.
