New videos are up for the PSP remake of Persona. The vids show off the game's battle system and the branching story line feature. It's all in Japanese, but you'll get the picture. Especially if you played the original game before.

The game's official website also updated with new sound clips from the soundtrack CD. the English version of the game is scheduled for a release this Fall.

The PSP is a good format for RPGs and turn based combat is something I generally enjoy for the strategy.

That said, doesn't look at sharp as Disgea or FF Tactics, but the more modern theme is a nice change.

I personally didn't like the combat and levelling system for FF7, so this might be a better alternative.

That said, this game has all the hallmarks for a modern Japanese anime, so if that's your thing, this will certainly go down well.

Looking forward to the release.

If that is the music from the game then ATLUS is definitely losing a sale regardless whether the game makes it to 19.99 or not.

Maybe make some good compositions based off the original music rather than this pop bull*****. Better yet, how about we listen to "Over the Rainbow" during ever battle scene to make it sound even more ***** than it already does.

Boo friggen hoo.

Miss out over the whole game just over music. You're the type of person who wouldn't buy prinny for the psp just because the pre-order came with a penny arcade comic.

;/ That argument with that person was equally annoying.

I was about to say hey where's the cool black kid? Then I realized that was Mark, and he wasn't originally black. They just did that for Revelations. Doh!

about 10-15 years after the fact, I just found out. :P

Anyways, the battle music does sound kinda sucky, like they tried to cut and paste music from persona 3 into persona 1.. it just doesnt fit. I'll still play it, though. :)
