With the tutorial over, you move on to more advanced targets, at which point, you'll need to familiarize yourself with a number of gameplay elements. Gods Eater Burst will let you customize and add parameters to your bullets, like add explosive splash damage and elemental properties that you'll need to take advantage of.

This feature is balanced out by limiting the slots you use to enhance your ammo. As you go further, you'll gain access to better spoils, letting you create more powerful enhancements for your ammo, like turn them into potent lasers. One of these is the Divine Shot that pierces through targets and goes on to hit other enemies in a straight line.

Custom bullets you make will carry over to your Avatar Card. You can give this to a friend so they can play their single-player games and have your character as an NPC. With this feature, you get to create wide variations of custom ammo that you can use as quick-firing automatics, or single-shot nukes.
