No, that's not a typo in the title - Namco Bandai and D3 Publisher took a step back and gave God Eater Burst a slight semantic adjustment. The North American release will be known as Gods Eater Burst, just to be clear that no one's after the God. Well, now that that's over with, the publisher has new tidbits on the localized version.

As reported by Siliconera, the game starts off with some cutscenes, which now have English voice work, but maintain the original theme. After that, the customized character had to endure the process of mounting his God Arc into his hand. God Arcs are weapons made out of the remains of beasts known as the Aragami, and are also used to slay them.

The game follows a monster-hunting style, but it has more story emphasis than other games in the genre. There's a deeper conspiracy to get to the bottom of, and there will be cutscenes as it all unfolds. Cutscenes, by the way, will use the in-game graphics, so whatever your customized hero wears while roaming and in battle, he'll be wearing them during the cutscenes as well.
