The Monster Hunter craze now has Japan on its feet due to the upcoming Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, an extended version of Monster Hunter on the Sony PlayStation Portable scheduled to put players in epic adventures this March 27. In case you haven't picked up on what's soon to hit Japanese retail courtesy of Capcom, here's a couple of videos featuring the monster hunting title.

Soon after the announcement of "a significant marketing program" for the Monster Hunter franchise, here are the hot videos showcasing Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G's gameplay matched with astounding visuals for a PSP title, and a relatively lengthy CG movie that gives us a good feel of the game's atmosphere.

the psp is truly making a comeback. Is it just me or has the recent lineup of games been phenomenal? There have been so many awesome games out within the last month and a half. The bar seems to be set much higher.

Patapon, God of War, FFVII: Crisis Core, and soon a 3rd Monster Hunter for PSP (in the west). Not to mention Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. Games like these make me actually want to pay for them...to congratulate the developers for these excellent releases.

Wow...to make a game so good that it makes a pirate change his ways...now THAT is true skill.
