We've got lots and lots of new screenshots from Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary today. We have a total of 17 screenshots in this post, most of them featuring the new and improved Lara Croft while the others give us a look at how the developers remade some of the familiar levels in the original Tomb Raider.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary is the second Tomb Raider title for the PSP and is, as we mentioned earlier, is a reworking of the original PlayStation title, Tomb Raider. The game's already been confirmed for a May release by Eidos Interactive although our recently posted gameplay vids suggest otherwise, but whatever the actual release date is, it's still at least few weeks away. In the meantime, check out the screenshots below.

Why aren't they releasing this for PS3 as well, they've seen fit to make their games for the PS2 and PSP, even the 360 & PC. At the rate they are going, we will probably end up with a version of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary & Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Whatever-the-He||-the-Next-One-Ends-Up-Being-Called for the PocketStation before they show the PlayStation 3 some love...=(

This was already brought up in an interview and they said they wanted to release it for PS2 because they knew the system so well. Putting it on PS3 would mean re-learning and re-making again which would make it delayed.

Spose I understand, Shame though.
