To say that Dead Head Fred is a little weird would be a bit of an understatement. This PSP exclusive from Vicious Cycle and D3Publisher casts players as Fred Neuman, a dead private detective who's out to unravel the mystery behind his own murder. In their quest for truth and vengeance, players will have to use the severed heads of their enemies to battle their way through environments designed to showcase each head's unique abilities.

Malformed mutants, ghoulish gangsters, and maniacal mob bosses populate every inch of Dead Head Fred's 1940's-inspired alternative universe, so players must really use their (ehem) heads to survive. C'mon, Fred's already died once. Don't waste his second chance.

Anyway, check out the new screenshots below. For more information about this game, check out our interview with Vicious Cycle's Eric Peterson. Dead Head Fred is slated for an August release.
