We get yet another glimpse of Crisis Core's intriguing plotline: Angeal tells Zack about the missing-in-action SOLDIER Genesis Rhapsodos (we wish we're fluent with Nihonggo so we can at least sniff out some more info about the new characters). In another scene we see Sephiroth and Zack discover Genesis lying dead on the ground - but it turns out that he's just, in Sephiroth's words, a "Genesis copycat" (feel free correct us if we got it wrong).
The in-game videos showcases the new battle system Digital Mind Wave, with Zack attaining a Power Surge after getting lucky with the slot machine, getting three Sephiroths in a row.
This promotional video also features the game's theme song "Why" sung by Ayaka, which pretty much hints of the heavy drama going around in the game's storyline. Do take note of the last parts of the trailer; it shows some nifty things such as the special Crisis Core PSP pack, and its Japanese release date, September 13, 2007.

The game is out September 13... not a long wait. Unless you want it translated then you'll have to wait till 2008.
Ya the music was alil slow, the US version is garunteed to be replaced with wailling guitar solos and heavy riffs. And the feminine guys... its just to appeal the girl gaming community. But who cares, the slice and dicing action looks awesome, and so do the CG movies! The in-game graphics look smooth and awesome too. I think, if you want a top quality, AAAA game on the psp, theres 3 developers to go to, and thats: Ready at Dawn, Square Enix, and Kojima Productions.
Isn't that what premium is all about?? They have a hidden forum on there that has houses all the isos probably. But ya, there is too much talk about downloading on the forums, and that has to stop.

They've made so many FF7 games. I don't know about the newer FF7 games, but I know the original was great!
It is the greatest "RPS" of all time... And you call yourself a FF7 Fan...
I think SquareEnix is milking the FF7 franchise to the bone (scratch that, I KNOW they are). If it isn't another FF7 related game, then it is a remake. SE has gotta get their act together and start making more new games (like back in the Square/Nintendo days). They're probably thinking that since someone within them are already workin on FF13, they can use the rest of the staff to make a bunch of remakes/ports. I think they should try and introduce a new GOOD IP. Maybe try and pull another KH.
One last thing. They are focusing too much on the DS right now. The DS is good and all, but its just not the system to be using 3D cause that screen is just too small (for me anyways). I own and love both handhelds, but I just wish SE would make more games for the PSP. The lineup coming out from them in the future is nice (CC:FF, FFT:TLW, and FF:D. hopefully u ppl know them :P), but I still feel that the lineup is pretty weak.

well my psp is mega bricked(not to mention i took it apart)and i really wanted this game and ff dissidia....guess i'll save up for the ff7 psp for $400,either that or buy a wii and metroid prime 3 for $250
downloading psp games is stupid, its half the reason you read comments like "I'm hoping it won't suck like 70% of psp titles." the more you download the less incentive (aka motivation) developers have to make good games. so if you download games then don't complain when sh*tty games get released.
If you buy (like me) then you have the right to complain.
So stfu and go buy the games you download.
maybe it was too slow on a system when it only has a battery life of about 8 hours, it would be like (dang my battery died again and i was only at the first battle)

You are the reason 70% of PSP titles suck, what's the point in working hard on a game if people are just going to pirate it? Developers barely even get money from PSP games anymore, thank you for your contribution to the death of a great handheld.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet or not.... But Sephiroth says (in Japanese), "Genesis copy, ka?" The "ka" at the end makes the sentence a question, so it probably best translates to "a Genesis copy, huh?"

Genesis has to be Vincent, since it's Gackt doing the voice over and in the same voice too. Maybe we'll get to see Vincent in the making!
To one of the comments above, when Zack talks to Cloud he says, "Cloud we...Have no choice but to go to Midgar..."
