Ever since Naughty Dog's Uncharted series burst onto the scene, it has been hailed as one of the best looking -- just flat out "best", in fact -- franchises to ever grace a Sony game console.

The announcement of an NGP outing for Nate Drake and his cohorts was among the highlights of Sony's NGP announcement last week, but those expecting Naughty Dog to actually be the one developing the game will be disappointed.

There's really no reason to be, however, as although the Uncharted game for Sony's Next Generation Portable won't be developed by the people who masterminded the Uncharted console games, they're passing it on to one of the most celebrated Sony studios to put out a game on the handheld front.
