- Popular cars the Phoenix and Stinger make a return to Vice City, as seen in the screenshots.
- Victor and Lance have grown up poor, and you start off in a trailer park that's brand new to Vice City.
- There's a whole new cast of characters, as well as some characters from Vice City.
- As said before, not only is the city bigger, it's more detailed.
- Buildings look cleaner, signs are at a much higher resolution, and the palm trees look better.
- Brand new pedestrians, and groups of the same type appear less together thanks to a reduction on clumping.
- Missions are much more varied than previous GTA's.
- Water effects have been improved, with a ''choppy-looking surface'' and weather affecting vehicle handling and swimming.
- Helicopters control smoothly
- Rockstar Leeds has been listening to your thoughts on Liberty City Stories, like controlling issues, swimming and flying etc.
- As you probably know, the biker gang makes a return to Vice City. But, according to this article Big Mitch Baker will be the leader again. So expect to see him in the game!
- In one screenshot we see a silenced SMG.
- Police troops parasail down in order to 'kick your ass' in Mission 4 titled "Tune in, Bug Out". In this mission you have to buy a rocket launcher and take out police receivers across town, involving car sections, helicopter flights and rooftop battles. All the stuff we love about GTA!

The scans only hint towards retaining the Vice City soundtrack. I want everything on there (and I realise the 1.8gb limitation) or I'm not interested in another Rockstar cash cow.

we shud see the things from San Andreas. Clothes Shops, barber shops, mroe realistic restaurants, Vehicle skills, weapon skills, parachutes, jetpacks, planes (not Dodo's or helicopters). Not done, gyms, CLIMBING a 3 ft wall for god's sakes !!!!! If all of the above arent in the game, it proves that San Andreas is and forever will be(after the disapointment of GTA:LCS, Rockstar isn't making big efforts for the 50 $ games) the best GTA ever. if it's too big for 1.8 gB, it aint for the PS2 DVD's so if they make one for the ps2, it shouldnt be as sucky as the PSP's

I just bought a 2 Gig yesterday it should arrive soon , why should I update and pay so much money for games that are not even that good, I will play the iso and enjoy less battery drain and shorter loading times ;)

Yeah but why should we care about it, We aint movie producers, Why do u care about if other people pirate and you have to actually DISCRIMINATE them for pirating? Now I see why everybody in other websites love to discriminate against us, Americans as I am a Chinese-American myself. and since when did piracy, so big in PS2 and Xbox prevented them from making good, kickass games like Final Fantasy franchise, Halo series and more.

YOU WILL NOT be able to play infrastructure multiplayer in this, they are saving that achievement for GTA4. I hope they have the same songs on the radio as Vice city does, That was my favorite GTA. I also hope they let you stream music directly from teh mem stick.
wow i never thought that my scans would get on here, thats 4 sites they have made it on but i want to know why you only reported about it when they where on GTAPortable.com cause they where up for 10 or so hours on GTAPSP.com before they went up any where else and if you wanted the images without the GTAPortable.com watermaker on you could have emailed me in the GTAPortable forums, well any ways its nice to see them up here too

this will be my 4th game for psp i am going to buy. i do support rockstar games. i have MNC 3 and GTA LCS and Initial D but GTA VCS is a must buy. when it comes to gta games i buy them.
this game is gonna be awesome! and sony knows it. This is sony's big hope to get many to upgrade, liek LCS did. And MANY will update for this game. I might even, but I have two 1.5 PSPs anyway. :)
Im wondering if sony will unleash 3.0 just before VCS comes out liek they did with 2.0 and LCS. That combo made it extremely tempting for many to upgrade.

most of the loserz believe in white power...but i really love black characters...so much of gangsta ***** and homie type of environment is simply fun...i am not a black though...but i do have a soft corner for them..and yeah black characters rock!!..this would be as fun as san andreas....considering the limitations of psp..this game wud be great according to its power..i just hope rockstar polishes its previous flaws and also fine tuneds this game....and makin yet another great hit!!

I would encourage 1.5 users not to update just merely to play this game if devhook does not support it. They should just wait for the PS2 version instead or wait longer for devhook support. I'm not falling for Sony's attempt to trick 1.5 users, not that it would work on most of us anyway.
Piracy of games is bad but I don't think it killed the NGAGE. I think the NGAGE just simply sucks.
I've never pirated a game for the PSP because none of them are worth the bandwidth. The $250 price of PSPs is also not an excuse for piracy. I think it is quite reasonable if you can get 1.5 and homebrew on it, it makes it a very good deal. I like it better than laptops or notebooks or whatever. I can't walk around while using those lol

Vice City stories is coming out on October, right? You have to wait like 6 months for games for new firmwares, such as 2.8. So, I guarantee, Vice City Stories will have 2.71 firmware.
listen homebrew is fine and progressing nicely..but iso's are bad and the reason we get so mad is because it really does mess stuff up 4 the ps in genral .. these companys are $$$$ , trus buy hey it's 2006 man .. i want them to make good games.. i do not want the psp to die cause some people can't pay for a few games.... that is all, man.. like this gangs of london thing.. there are real good games coming out now, and pleases help these people out and buy some games.. at least u didn't spend thousands of $$$ at the arcade playing pacman........

oh man. i love having homebrew on my PSP, especially psp rhythm, i use that more than i play games. But GTA is my achille's heel. I will upgrade when this comes out. I knew it would happen too. This will be as have as much impact as the GTA:LCS exploit, only this time it will be in sony's favour,i know a LOT of people will do the same as me. I have faith that whatever fw this game runs on will in its turn be hacked. I can wait for that, but not GTA.
