Ask any fan of Japanese RPGs who isn't barred by the land of the rising sun's language what upcoming handheld title is worth the wait, and you'll get Namco Bandai's Tales of Rebirth for the Sony PlayStation Portable. Why? Not only is the Tales series known for high quality, but people fond of 2D visuals are also in for a treat. What we have here are more screens from the game to show how the faithful Sony PSP port is holding up to the original.
Being graphically unimpressive as a PlayStation 2 title may have prevented Tales of Rebirth from reaching the west, but as a gem on the Sony handheld, it delivers. Similar to Square Enix' reincarnation of the earlier Star Ocean games, combat in ToR happen on 3D planes with all the explosive attack skills and colorful spells. Non-believers can look at the screens to find out what we're talking about.
