Just like a hunter who'll go through the toughest obstacles just to take his mark down,  we're always on the lookout for anything Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. Fortunately, Famitsu has revealed new screenshots of Capcom's offering to the Sony PlayStation Portable.

As an expansion, 2nd G is coming in with new enemies to expand your list of marks. This time, the star is the menacing Lightning Dragon which appears to be more than capable of protecting itself. From the looks of it, this monster can pounce on any adventurer that lacks proper preparation and has insufficient combat experience.

It's difficult to figure out who turned out to be the prey and predator in the screens above, but you can always try to simulate the battle when Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G hits shelves. Capcom's online-capable title is set for release on March 2008 in Japan, while it's yet to be confirmed if the game will reach outside the land of the rising sun.

:(

Pretty disappointing that it's just Tigarex with a dark skin and lighting. I'd hoped there would be some decent additions, although hopefully there is more new stuff to come out. The only real addition anyone would want is online play, which i think would get an even more ridiculous amount of sales in all regions.
