Monsters! Yeah, we got a lot of those. Monster-hunting action brought to you by Monster Hunter Portable 2 and this whole heap of screenshots right here. We have to admit, this game is looking cooler and cooler. The main area this time is the snowy mountain region surrounding Pokke Village. Looks familiar, eh? Well, this area was also featured in the PS2 release of Monster Hunter 2. Those who've played the PS2 version won't find the night/day time-flow system here, though. In Monster Hunter Portable 2, the quests will take place at set times of the day.

Check out these really cool screenshots.

This game would be killer with online but without it this game is stupid. Its nothing more than an MMO minus the fun of having others to help you.

this game in no way resembles an MMO, as you had 4 man teams, and even that wasn't truely online on psp. It's an action rpg, and you really shouldn't need help in a portable mh title anyway, as the wyverns were weakened greatly.

Well, I do hope there's infrastructure online mode in this game, I have to rely on xlink + ad hoc play to play online with other players in MHP.

Looks like an awesome game (graphically). I surely hope they fix the controls and camera as well which are really dissapointing on the first Monster Hunter.
