More Hot PXL screenshots |
Ó
Minigame insanity the likes of which has only been reserved for the much-revered WarioWare series in this new batch of screenshots for the upcoming Atari title, Hot Pxl. Get your glowing hand away from that hamster!
As the people behind Hot Pxl have already admitted that their entry into the minigame-smorgasbord genre is in fact inspired by WarioWare, the graphics have that gritty, hand-drawn quality to them - barring the stages that do use photo-realistic graphics. And as the title suggests, there's a lot of pixellation going on, another WarioWare influence of going for substance rather than style.
Despite the obvious borrowing, however, the games do look unique - we certainly can't figure out just what you have to do with the hapless-looking hamster and the sharp-looking forks in the background. Throw them at the hamster with mind powers, perhaps? In any case, we'll be keeping an eye on this title, so be sure to check back for any and all updates concerning Atari's Hot Pxl. In the meantime, enjoy the screenshots!

its aight...nothing special
It's a blatant rip-off of WarioWare, but it works. Lots of mini-games and the ability to download more from the web, plus a ton of stuff to unlock.
I've completed this so if your looking for a long game, this ain't it. You will get 3-5 hours of play.
