More crazy screens of Crazy Taxi |
Ó
While videos are perhaps more apt when you want get a taste of quasi-illegal taxi-driving found in Sniper Studios' Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars, screens do reveal a few details that a fast paced video doesn't.
For one thing, you get to see all of the jaggies and the pixels that get hidden by the break-neck driving. However, who cares if the jaggies are there? This isn't a 1080p game for your excessively expensive high-def TV, this is a game for your PlayStation Portable. The craziness and the chaos should be on shelves by June, if in case you're curious.
What should matter here is the style and the character of the game. Good thing that the screenshot of the character called "Slash" (check it out below) exudes nothing but style and character. The thumbnails are below, you know the drill.

looks good
On pic 5 of 6, at the character selection screen. It says:
"D-pad to select. Press the A button to accept"
Is this game really for psp or what?
doesn't look good for me.
But I don't like Crazy Taxi anyway...
Clearly a sloppy port from the Dreamcast, also being a more accurate explanation for the 'jaggies'. Crazy Taxi's definitely like, a whole decade old.
I agree with the previous poster stating it's just a sloppy port. I bought this game years ago for like $4 for my PC and I barely got my $4 worth. They better market this game at a budget price if they want any sales at all.
You know? It looks like the GBA version of Crazy Taxy: Catch a Ride for me...
EARTH!
You know it honestly feels like they've been making this PSP port forever, but all it really seems they've done is turn the polygon count and make textures muddy and blurry for the PSP. ...it's just not worth it.
they're *****ty ass jpeg images of an unfinished game
lets calm down now
How many of you guys played the original DC version? I guess not many! And how many played it on the PS2 and noticed the differences between the 2 versions?
The DC version looked better than the PS2 version. Because the DC had more memory than the Ps2, which means that it had problems with the resolution. Resident Evil:Code Veronica was also ported to the PS2 but they had way more Problems with it on the Ps2, beause of the memory, which made the ps2 version a little more blurry.
And the PSP isn't as strong as the PS2. That means that Games wont be as good looking as on the PS2.
But go ahead and check the Hi-Res Videos for Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars on IGN, and you will see that it is not that bad looking as some of you think.
I wonder how many will stay to their words when the game is out an play it then?
Had it on dreamcast, got boring very quickly!
