Of all the places to find potential gaming news, it had to be on a model's blog (via Kotaku). International model Jacquetta Wheeler posted in her Vogue blog account (yes, models get to blog in Vogue, us mere mortals in myspace) that she saw Beaterator in actual play ... in an iPhone.

Now, this game, produced with Timbaland, has been announced for the PSP, but not the iPhone. Well, according to the model's blog, it was on the iPhone. Here's how she saw the game:

I stayed the last two nights with my dear friend Anouchka, her hubby Sam and their two adorable kids. It was heaven waking up every morning to their gorgeous little faces in my bedroom saying good morning Auntie Jac. Sam, who works at Rockstar Games, introduced me to Beaterator, a game that's about to come out, produced by Rockstar Games together with Timbaland. It is genius. I don't have an i-phone yet but think I'm going to have to buy one now as this game is so much fun and you can play it on your i-phone wherever you are. You are basically a DJ and the game enables you to create your own mixes. Hook it up to some speakers and you've got a party going on. You don't have to know anything about mixing, no prior experience required, and yet you are left wondering whether you should pack up your current career and move to Ibiza to become the next Sven Vath. Its a LOT of fun. Have a look: www.rockstargames.com.

Rockstar on the iPhone, huh? If this pushes through, then we just might see more of them on the App Store in the near future.

In the meantime, here's a featurette video for Beaterator's PSP Go version, with Timbaland talking about his project. It's lookin' veeeerrrry phat, and he's lookin' a veeeeeeeeeerrrry cool dad:

» This is so HOT i cant wait!

I actually had absolutely no intentions on buying a PSP-GO simply becuase my CFW'd psp is used almost exclusively for Rhythm 8. But, now I want both. This game and the GO. Finally, Sony got the form factor right. And, finally they are releasing stuff that is appealling to adults.

» Shes dumb, and this looks mint!

Well, I think she is dumb and missunderstood it! Its made for PSP NOT iPhone (They are very easy to mix up, not)

Anyway, this looks like a really cool game. I liked trax pad but it was a little hard and not very easy to use, this looks way easier and also has loads more beats. I for sure will be getting this game! I love it! LBP PSP, Jak & Daxter, GT PSP! When will it ever end!

I normally love Rockstar stuff but I think I'll pass on this as I really can't stand the type of music this game's about. Looks good for those who do though.

Check the official website if you want proof.

In big lettering - COMING TO IPHONE AND IPOD TOUCH.

This pretty much makes your earlier statement bunk, no?
