Because people on this side of the Pacific want stuff that comes out only for those on the other side of the ocean, like the Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Premium and KonamiStyle Packs, you will be happy to know that Play-Asia will have them on December 21. The sad part, however, is that the thing costs around US$ 349.00 (for Premium) or US$ 449.00 (KonamiStyle), PLUS shipping and handling, to get this pack across the Pacific and into your hands.

As a recap: in both the limited edition and premium bundles, you get the game itself, and a PSP with a camo skin lovingly crafted by the Big Boss himself. He killed snakes and stripped them bare with his own teeth to make these PSP console camouflage (a.k.a. PSP-1000CA) skins (and if you believed that, it's time to put down that snake you're eating).

If you're ordering the Premium Pack, you get a basic, though MPO-inspired, PSP case and strap to strangle enemy soldiers with keep your PSP clean with. Pitch over an extra hundred for the KonamiStyle bundle and you get the limited-edition "Skin of a Warrior" PSP case and "Tail of a Killer" PSP strap, and a limited-edition certificate proudly proclaiming you as the owner of a limited-edition KonamiStyle PSP and MPO. And maybe the Tail of a Killer could be used to kill enemy soldeirs with on your cellphone, too.

Anyway, to round out the package, you also get three MPO pins to display your MPO pride. No, there's no GPS included here - you have to get that separately. Find the Premium Pack at this link, and the KonamiStyle pack by clicking here.

WHY do we have to pay a load of money to IMPORT a psp of a different color? WAKE UP SONY we want more choices the black gets kinda ugly after a while you are losing so much money from people buying numerous faceplates just so they can make their system the color they want you give japan all the colors and we get screwed with black give us more colors the system has been out long enough there is no excuse for nintendo to have colored ds's available everywhere colored psp's only in japan and the us only gets freakin black

» Crazy Money

Gotta be kinda gay to fork our $449 for the KonamiStyle pack...my guess is that it's Konami and Sony in on this deal (***** I'd rather buy a PS3 with that amount of money).

» WHat sucks about this

1. Its expensive

2. It's probably a ta-086 MoBo with 2.82 installed out of the box.

3. Probably won't even be available to the people who would really really want to have something like that

and I agree with you wolfkiyo, Sony needs to start releasing different colors here.... I had to buy my Ceramic PSP off a friend who ordered it online. too much hassle getting something 3rd hand... Thank God its in perfect condition and has a perfect screen

But yea Sony = dumbasses

» LOL

quit your whining, b!tches. you guys dont deserve new skinned PSPs because you'll end up voiding your warrantees anyway....with all that bricking, shell-swapping, etc. be content with what you have...besides, it's not worth bringing the konami pack over here. no one will buy it because americans are too ignorant or already have thier own PSP.

» MGS Sux anyway

Metal gear sux anyway (well except for the first title) - why would anyone want one of these anyway?

As for SonyF@n - yeah the yanks are a bunch of obese idiots...but this is why it makes sense to take $hit to their country - they have so much money (and they're stupid) so it's easy to sell them crap!
