Yo metal slug owns all you first posting noobs

It's too bad that Sony won't accept anymore full sprite (?) games because some rock, it's lucky that they still have the PSP to go on.

Yeah, this series owns, but I can play them already on my NEOGEO and NEOGEOCDX emulators....It would be a great buy for somebody with the newer, and as of late, hackless Sony updates.



SNK has great games, but they're also know for re-hashing all their same games over and over and over....Also, being as cheap as they come, I wouldn't doubt this game is emulated straight off the UMD (meaning the PSP will access an emulator within the UMD that runs the game)....Don't believe me? Just look at the Midway Arcade Treasures ISO, or Capcom's Classic Collection ISO...there's your proof. Another proof would be the Ugly stretching of the graphics...as we've all seen in the actual homebrew emulators, they all do this because the games original frame format cannot correctly adjust to the PSP widescreen......So, in a way, all these old games we're getting on our PSP's nowdays are poorly ported over at lunch time, or simply pasted into the UMD with an emulator that runs em....Just to shed a little light here on how some companies like Capcom, Midway and SNK are ripping us PSP users off with their laziness...have a nice day.

Metal Slug 1 already came out for the Saturn and PSX. Saturn got a great port with minimal loading between stages. The PSX got a really crappy port with the game stopping twice per stage to load a section of the level.

We need Kof in the PSP, and metal slug series are pretty cool, I remember beting the game with just one live....... and 50000 points. in metal slug x

or i could just use an emulator....

first it was Beta, now UMD and soon BLU-RAY. Sony Have the worst track record with creating formats. And the worst move of all was to sell the psp as a multimedia device!

get your facts straight metal slug x came out for those systems not metal slug 1.

First of all, @4....hahahahhahaha yes the title did throw me off a bit as well but ain't that kinda harsh? ;) Anyhoo about time the release date is announced and MS6 better be in there. W00t all of 'em in one tiny little package...no more buying thirty seperate games for Xbox, and no more laggy-at-action-packed-moments emulation!

I already upgraded my second, non-homebrew use PSP, so it's going to be kickass playing these multiplayer wifi.
