Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Coming Sooner?

Kojima Productions is shaking things up for all fans of Snake and Metal Gear Solid, with some significant release date changes. Previously announced as having a TBA 2007 release date, game sites such as EBgames and IGN, have changed the information found in their sites for this game's release date.

IGN has it listed as December 5, 2006, while EBgames has it four days earlier at December 1, 2006. Because of this little discrepancy, we advise you to take it with a grain of salt for now. But it doesn't hurt to hope and wish that the wait to try the "White Flag" mode is just around the corner. Anything that comes up, you'll be the first to know.

They did say in E3 "The game will be out in stores this winter." But, they didn't say where though. So, this could mean that they were talking about USA release. I can't wait!

release dates from ebgames...

should not be trusted. seems like game stop, eb, heck all of them just throw up dates that seem to be wrong quite frequently, i dont expect it any sooner than origionally listed by IGN (even though they've been wrong too)

Woo?

4 days. Wow, something to get excited about. Get me when it's over a month earlier, and maybe then it'll be interesting.

way

@7 read the post again carefully, Metal Gear was suspected to come out some time in 2007. However Ign and EBgames have said that it will be comming out in December. Ign and EBgames are just two sources used. Its not comparing the two sites saying the games is comming out 4 days earlier. It's saying that the game is comming out in December and not sometime 2007. Hope that cleared things out for you.

Great

The sooner Portable Ops is released, the better. It looks awesome!

Wow, it seems QJ.Net have a case of Down-Syndrome. If you recall the original MPO trailer, it states "Coming this winter", are we a bit clueless? get your sources and facts right before laying out articles like this.

It is a placeholder, friendly *****-tards.

well...

the trailer at E3 *did*say it was coming this Winter. but then it was pushed to 07, so if it truly has a December release date, that's awesome, as i was really looking forward to this game to tide me over if i couldn't get a PS3 this November (i was also hoping for Silent Hill: Origins this winter also, but it's been pushed to next year as well). man, i can't wait for this game. i'm one of the few people that really liked Metal Gear Acid, so having a "true" action MGS has me stoked.

I remember being able to Pre-order Gran Turismo 4 mobile on September the 1st when the PSP first came out - and its STILL never been released almost a whole year later!!! Dont get your hopes up!!!

when the hell was it 'pushed' to 2007?!!? find me an article, or you suffer the same down-syndrome
