December is a bum month when it comes to PSP releases. In fact, January 2009 is too, but at least we can look forward to a couple of JRPGs at that time.

One of these is Gust and NIS America's Mana Khemia: Student Alliance, an updated port of the PS2 title Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis. You can check out the game's US debut trailer below.

Mana Khemia: Student Alliance for the Sony PSP is slated for a January 20 release. New features include multiplayer battles, more items for synthesis, and faster loading times. I've always loved NIS offerings, so this goes immediately on my "to buy" list.

I'll be picking this up - if only to support NIS America in translating titles from Japan (though the game looks pretty cool anyway ^^). I hope they bring it to the UK, but I don't mind importing, I'm pretty used to it these days.
