Malloxis PSP 6.20 SAVEDATA exploit released, e-loader coming soon

Head's up to the PSP homebrew community, homebrew dev Malloxis has released his savedata exploit for the PSP firmware 6.20 that works on all PSP models including the PSP Go. According to the dev, the hack was discovered because of a loophole in the Patapon 2 demo with the help of N00b81, m0skit0 and wololo. The dev also promises an e-loader is already in the works so stay tuned.

This exploit is Wololos, not Malloxis. Malloxis may have discovered the actual loophole, but Wololo coded it to actually be an exploit. On the other hand, Malloxis released this exploit claiming that it is all his for the fame. Hmmm, Sounds familiar. OH YEAH! It's just like that stunt FreePlay pulled and released an exploit that didnt have an eloader, without the actual makers permission...

This is awesome as hell... but...

Maybe it would have been a Much better idea to let us know the game AFTER an e-loader was released, so sony won't go about updating the firmware again, leaving us at square one for the--- forget it. I've lost count how many times this has happened.

Does this work on european psp? I have a psp2004 and the save game loads without any crash :( It complains about "system data not found", but then the game loads normally. The xploit and h.bin are in place...

It will not be compatible. The 6.XX kernel is different than the 5.XX and earlier kernels. Homebrew would need to be recoded.

Wololo is worried whether this can be used after the public release of these news. But shouldn't that be a problem at all if this is a demo exploit? A demo can be transferred to PSP from any source, right? Don't need to be PSN.

The game and the hack are both posted above and they work. I ran it on the PSP GO and it works. DO IT YOURSELF and you will also see it works. How much more proof do you want than the actual thing?

Anyone can fake a video but as this is a release its the real deal this time.

im soooo torn now. i just bought a psp go last week for $150 on craigslist(grea t deal right!) :) but 3 days ago i was laid off because of the freakin economy. i was actually planning on putting the psp go back on craigslist because i could probably the extra cash, but again im torn. if i sell the psp go and they patch this exploit(which they will) it might cost me a lot more to get a psp go with 6.20 back. but if i keep it, ill have something to look forward too besides trying to find a new job. i know this isnt a life or death concern but it still kind of sucks in my little world. :) im a programmer in san diego... anyone hiring? :)

Confirmed working on my PSP Go. Make sure to put h.bin in the ROOT of your PSP Go, not anywhere else. I think this is the problem most people are having. Also, kudos for finding the exploit on a free, universal demo that Sony can't eliminate completely.

STEPS:
-Copy the demo folder to ROOT>PSP>GAME
-Copy the savegame folder to ROOT>PSP>SAVEDATA
-Copy the h.bin to the PSP's root
-Launch game
-When it asks, create save file
-Click "Continue"
-Load the only save file you should see
-When the playable section appears, press R
-Viola, PSP Go Exploited

I dont get it, why does the wolo team or w.e, have to make this exploit and release it half way, why cant they just hack it fully so no one has to wait for the eloader. One more question, will this exploit let you play the whole game of Patapon 2
