Make Your Own Princess with Princess Maker Portable

Simulation games are fun. However, there seems to be a rising trend in those parenting-like games, which to me, can run as either fun and educational, and at times like this, it can appear a little different. To anyone with a Lolita complex, this game called Princess Maker Portable, will definitely set your heart aflutter.

The game has every element that everyone with a Nabokov complex will definitely enjoy. Well, unless you really are the motherly type, then this should be no issue as well.

The game's objective is raising your daughter to be a princess fit for the kingdom. You can really choose whichever path you want your princess to take. You can make her athletic, hence making her an active princess. You can just teach her social graces. The idea is to create a holistic noble that would keep your kingdom running. You may also bring her to magic, art, and dance classes. During the game, she will meet classmates whom she can compete with. More so, there is a festival that will challenge your daughter to showcase the talent that she has learned. Winning the game makes your lovely princess the best in her class. Now, who wouldn't want that?

Hence, for those who love to rear a little girl into a lady, then maybe playing this game might just whet your appetite. I mean, the girls are cute. Who can't resist that?

I'm guessing the article writer read a book sometime and decided everyone would know what a 'Nabokov complex' is. Near as I can tell, it means you like complex things. Or possibly complex books. (Nabokov wrote very complex books. And with the term 'lolita complex' earlier, I guess the writer is trying to use the word 'complex' to mean the like it, instead of the more usual 'exaggerated or obsessive concern or fear.'

How this ties in with the 'unless you really are the motherly type', I can't imagine.

Please, please, please understand what you're saying before you post it.

As for the game, it's the same as every other princess maker game. It's a tamagotchi. With pink dresses.

Justs a sample of japanese male domination. Today princesses do not need to be raised. They wear tatoos and couldn't care less about all these parental crap.

No, this is not 'loli'. It is geniunely aimed at people who wish to 'raise' a little girl virtually. Not people who want to said said girl in various states of undress.

I'm not real sure what the deal with the chick sunbathing is, but oh well.

@7 ... Umm, that's exactly why they NEED to be raised. So they don't grow up as tattooed freaks that wouldn't listen to authority if their life depended on it.

On topic though, the princess maker games really are fun! I think Princess Maker 2 was the only one translated into english though, that was for PC ages ago..

You guys are too quick to judge. This game is just a simulation game for raising a daughter, where the best possible outcome is grooming her into a princess fit for a prince.

In fact, I find it somewhat similar to Sims 2.

Played it for the Saturn, it was pretty fun. This game looks a lot better than the one I had, that's for sure.

If you want to toss dirty diapers, go play The Sims 2. If you want to raise a girl to be a respected daughter, get Princess Maker.

I'm not a little girl, I don't need a game like this lol.

anyway it's in jap so even my little sister couldn't play, this is sooo pointless

Anyway, I'm waiting for Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins and jeanne d'arc on psp =D and final fantasy 12, dirge of cerberus, Disgaea 2, Yakuza, Rogue Galaxy, Demon Chaos, Okami, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, God Hand, Tales of the Abyss, Bully, Ar Tonelico, God of War II, The King of Fighters 2006 and Dawn of Mana on ps2... more games on ps3, it's gonna cost a lot!!! ( oh no, I forgot, I've got a swap magic =D, yeah, but the ps3 is gonna cost too much... and the games won't be pirated ( thank god for the devs, at least for me I pay for abour 2k$ of games before starting to copy so I'm good, cause anyway I suppose there's no a lot a people who can say they bought for 2k$ of games... )

Goody, another PM game. I thoroughly enjoyed PM2.

As for the pedophile remarks, you do realize that you play the role of the father in these games, right?

I dunno about you, but I'd find it hard to bat off to my own daughter, even if it was a intricately hand-drawn simulated one.

Then again, if you don't have a problem with that, play through the game till she's 18 and go beserk.

i've played PM2 years ago. there are so many endings. prostitute is one of them. and you can even end up marrying her. even though you raised her from a baby. and the baby was given to you by the gods. so technically, you are not her father.

# why??Guest 2006-10-17 14:04
Why is everyone so sick and twisted?! This game is obviously aimed at young female gamers anyway so you hentai/lolita sickos should go someplace else. I'm sure there are games meant for your sick fantasies so get OFF of this site and go there instead! You should be ashamed.
