Lexar 4GB MSPD PLATINUM II going for US$ 35

FRYS.com has further lowered the price of their Lexar 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, knocking US$ 5 off the previous after-rebate price of US$ 39.99. Those of you looking for a new memory stick can get one now for US$ 34.99. Judging by the screenshot below, that's the actual price. No rebates needed this time. Then again, I never could understand the whole rebate thing.

Opinions are divided among PSP owners as to how reliable Lexar's memory sticks are. Now, I personally haven't used a Lexar before since I'm still using an old SanDisk, but if you need second opinions before you buy one, drop by our PSP forums and ask around.

» Berries and cream

Yes, this is the real little lad from the infamous berries and cream starburst commercial. When I was a little lad, and I wanted berries and cream, mummy used to make me do the berries and cream dance. Now, mummy's gone. Nevertheless, I still do the berries and cream dance whenever I hear or see berries and cream starbursts. So, as a special treat on this comment, I will now do the dance for all of you! You look lovely!

"Berries and cream, berries and cream, I'm a little lad who loves berrriiieess aanndd cccrrrreeeaaamm !"

» It's Better

SanDisk is reliable, runs everything, has better speed, all at about 25 dollars more. Unless you just need a memstick for non-homebrew/iso playing, don't get a lexar

» EWWWWWW!!!

OKAY,

WELL, I WENT TO FRYS AND BOUGHT A 4GB MSPD IT WORKS FINE AND EVERYTHING, MUSIC, PICTURES AND MUSIC, BUT THERE IS ONE PROBLEM......

IT WON'T RUN MY ISOs

T.T;

WHEN I TRY BOOTING UP MY ISO IT TELLS ME THE GAME CAN'T BE STARTED, WHILE ON MY SANDISK 512MB WORKED FINE.

by Thanatos - 2007-06-07 18:24
» How to make it work

ISOs would work if you reformat the 4gig to a Fat16 instead of Fat32.

The only problem i have with this memory stick is PSX eboot dont seem to work!!!

So im keeping my PSX eboots on another memory stick... sucks having to change back and forth.
