Lemmings Swarms into Stores |
Ó
By now, videogame retailers should have the Lemmings displayed in their racks/shelves. The cute yet always clueless creatures should have crawled their way to stores as they were officially released yesterday (May 23). Its arrival to the PSP would definitely give the classic "save 'em up" puzzle game a new and portable twist. The PSP version was developed by the guys at Team 17, the same company who developed the video game Worms. And staying true to the essence of Lemmings, the gameplay is still the same. The game still puts players in charge of the little ones as they traverse the different stages with lots of obstacles that they should overcome to go on to another stage and more obstacles.
The PSP version of the Lemmings offers 150 different stages, 20 of which are exclusively for the PSP only. The game features updated graphics, new music, and a level editor wherein you can create your own crafty mazes that you can share with others.

it is just too boring
Let me guess... 2.7 required, right?
if uve played any of the other lemmings games then uve probably played this one it just isnt ont he psp u can just play roms from other systems of the game if u really want, cause then when u relieze how boring it is then u didnt waste 40 or 50 bucks on it
i live in ausrtralia and ive had lemmings for 2-3 months now. its good. i should have got worms though.
I already have lemmings for the Amiga 500. There's also an Amiga emulator for PSP with roms that can be downloaded free. Why buy a new one for $50 that requires a firmware update?

YEA BOUT TIME SOME PEOPLE AGREE WITH ME, JUST GET THE SNES EMULATOR FOR THE PSP AND DOWNLOAD LEMMINGS 1 & 2 FOR FREE!!!!!!!!! WITH NO FIRMWARE UPGRADE
More evidence for Sony to not open up the PSP to homebrew...
great game... aint goin to spend money on it when i can get it legally for free on my PSP...... wooo 20 extra levels.... not enough
oh yeah, and been out ages
in the uk we got it ages ago, this is old news.
I've got the European version, and it works fine with FW 2.6. No idea if that's required, either... It's not a particularly advanced game, so it could be that they've forgone the firmware thing altogether.
Yep, if you haven't already been forced to ugrade your firmware, just use an emulator... as long as you don't care about level editors or new original levels or good graphics. Just go ahead and illegally download ROMs because that's FREE! You cheap bastards, support game devs!
