Kitase: The 3rd Birthday coming to Japan this winter, rest of the world soon after |

Famed Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase has confirmed that the hotly anticipated Parasite Eve portable spin-off, The 3rd Birthday, will be released in Japan this winter, with the rest of the world getting the game some time in 2011. Speaking via a translator at GamesCom last week, Kitase said:
"The Japanese version’s going to come out in winter this year. And we’ve already started localising the game for overseas versions. So we’re hoping to release it sometime rather soon after the Japanese release, but we can’t specify an exact time.”
When asked if he meant the game would arrive in the west next year, Kitase simply replied, “yes”.
