Kain takes a page out of Cecil's book in Dissidia Duodecim |

Lightning will be shifting Paradigms in Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy, and it appears fellow Dissidia newcomer Kain Highwind will be doing some shifting of his own, and that's without Golbez's mind control. His style, however, will be more like his best buddy Cecil's Dark Knight-Paladin transformations. He, too, will be going through a light-dark change.
His "light" transformation would be the Holy Dragoon from his stint in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. In this form, he gets to unleash the Pride of the Dragoon attack, as well as a few other skills specific to this form.
Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy launches this spring in Japan, while a Western release has already been confirmed as well. Hopefully by then, the localized game will have a less excruciating name.

I'm just praying they did it right and had his fighting style consist of an early mastery(and unique surpassing mastery above other characters come endgame) of quick, elusive, flowing movements and a lot of aerial maneuverability , followed by quick, crushingly powerful attacks that close distance.
To be brief: If his play style isn't a through-and-through parallel to FF4's Jump attack (i.e. Elude -> hover -> charge-like-a-jouster-on-RAM-jets) then something's screwed up here.
And, on that note, I sigh in disappointment, knowing that Cyan will never be put in Dissidia because he was a weather-beaten, badass old warrior with a sorrowful story only adults would fully relate to. (aka JRPG marketing suicide.)
