Jeanne d'Arc Village Defense video

PSP gamers who are fans of turn-based strategy titles have a lot of reasons to rejoice with Level 5 and Sony Computer Entertainment's Jeanne d'Arc. It looks a pretty good game which pays homage to other Tactics games that were released before it.

The village defense video is pretty interesting with Joanne d'Arc's team rushing to defend a pair of villagers from some English Soldiers. As most would expect, the game is set during 15th century AD with France and England engaging each other during the 100 Years' War.

It is a very interesting take on this historical event and one that fantasy and history buffs will find really amusing. This game is already out in Japan and will be hitting U.S. shores this
August 21.

Watch the video and see if the game appeals to you. Enjoy!

Too little too late. They should have released games like this much earlier on in the Psp life cycle. There is no pleasing some eh haha

Why does everyone keep talking as if the PSP is a dead handheld? It's sales are just fine; they're about on par with the PS2. And LOL @ anyone who thinks the PS2 was a failed console.

And if you're going to tell me that it's because the DS is selling better or because of PSP piracy, think again. DS piracy is just as common (And even easier to do, it doesn't involve risky flashing of the DS or handling/finding giant ISO files) and a console being outsold doesn't mean its life is over (or else Nintendo'd be out of the video game business years ago)
